Alaskan Tweet

Alaska: Elder Workman just got back from a month at the Alaska Driving Academy

on the Kenai Peninsula. God blessed immensely! He was also very impressed at the

training he received there and encouraged leadership in UBC to put into serious

action the role of equipping our people to go out. Not just hand over a stack of books

and say, “ok, go study, you’re on your own,” but to actually “gather” and TRAIN new

elders and the people. Many ministries have good training schools and are

equipping their new ministers. We can learn from them.

Camille shared that she was also impressed on this and was praising God for those

thoughts because they are the same thoughts that Elder Demetrius shared on his

visit to Idaho.
